For a person who absolutely despises being out of her pjs, Sbh-14 Boutique’s kurtas sound like a considerable option for everyday wear, especially as a working woman. Being on the go, it’s not easy to take out time to curate an outfit, that too one that doesn’t make me want to escape its clutches the minute I get home. But when I tried on the boutique’s long shirt styled kurta, it was surprisingly very lightweight and comfy, despite its shiny and kind of fancy-looking looking exterior.

Additionally, it is very well stitched, I have to say. For those of you who prefer a loose fit, this will work well for you. I really like the cuts in the elongated cuffs and the bronze and gold buttons pair nicely with the maroon-red shirt. Fair warning though: being out in the sunlight, I realised the shirt catches light and appears brighter than it did indoors. The fabric is a mix of silk and linen, I believe. This product was sent free of charge to Images but the price range is kind of unbelievable, especially keeping in mind rising inflation — the kurta costs Rs1,400 but a discount for new customers drops its price to Rs1,260.

I will have to admit there are some differences in aesthetic sense here. Though I wouldn’t personally buy this particular design, I checked out their socials and found kurtas that I would actually buy myself.

All in all, I think they’re a good option for everyday wear. Dabbling in Eastern and Western wear, they have a variety of fabrics available including khaddar, cotton, boski linen and silk, and they allow customisation as well.
