TAXILA: Wah Saddar police on Saturday arrested three suspects nominated in abduction of a property dealer and later threw his body at a deserted place.

Sub-divisional Police Officer Taxila circle DSP Mian Afzaal Shah told mediapersons on Saturday that Abdul Rehman, a property dealer in New City area, was allegedly abducted by his partner over money issue from New city area in the limits of Wah Saddar police station on Dec 5 and later he was strangled to death and his body was found from a deserted place near Mirza village in the limits of Attock Saddar Police station on Dec 7.

He said police had registered a case against the nominated accused including the deceased partner and other co partners under section 302, 365, 201, 148, 149, 109 and section 7 of anti-terrorism act.

He said police on Saturday arrested three nominated accused.

Meanwhile, Wah Cantonment police raided a gambling den and arrested as many as 12 people while gambling.

Gambling tools and bet money with two motorcycles and mobile phones were also seized during the raid.
