MUZAFFARGARH: Gunmen looted Rs20 million in gold and cash from the shop of a goldsmith in Sinawan town, Kot Addu and also left the owner of the shop and his father injured for resisting them.

The incident occurred in the shop of Shahid Zargar. Shahid alleged that three robbers stole Rs10 million in jewellery and Rs10 million in cash.

The police cordoned off the bazaar area. The traders protested against the Kot Addu district police, alleging the district administration failed to protect the people.

Sanawan SDPO Syed Riaz Bukhari negotiated with the protesters and convinced them to end the protest.
