PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has imposed ban on all sorts of appointments in the public sector universities and degree-awarding institutions in the province till further orders.

A notification issued from the Governor’s House on Wednesday stated that the ban would be lifted after looking into the financial position of respective universities and degree-awarding intuitions vis-à-vis genuine need of appointments.

The notification has been forwarded to all the public sector universities in the province for compliance.
