DERA MURAD JAM­ALI: Hundreds of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers and supporters staged a rally on Monday, showing solidarity with the Pakistan Army.

The participants of the rally, led by PPP’s Divisional President Mir Bilal Khan Umrani, carried national flags, placards and banners inscribed with slogans of ‘Pak-Army Zindabad’ and ‘Long live Pakistan’. They marched on main roads and streets of Dera Murad Jamali, the headquarters of Nasirabad division.

Mr Umrani and other leaders in their speeches on the occasion condemned the ongoing propaganda against the army and said those behind the campaign could not be friends of Pakistan.

They said it’s the army was not only protecting the frontiers of the country by sacrificing their lives but was fighting against terrorism.
