KARACHI: Young man shot dead

KARACHI, Dec 28: A young man was killed and his friend was wounded when unknown persons opened fire on them in Liaquatabad late Tuesday night.

Police said Danish, 20 and his friend Imran were sitting in Talib Colony when unknown persons on a motorcycle sprayed them with bullets.

They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where Danish was pronounced dead. His friend was provided treatment.

Meawnwhile, a cattle-pen owner was shot dead by unknown persons in Shah Faisal Colony on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Rana Shakir, 32. The victim was rushed to Jinnah Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police suspected personal enmity as the possible motive behind the killing.
