Feroze Khan’s ex-wife Aliza Sultan accuses him of abuse and infidelity, he says can’t discuss matter

Feroze Khan and his ex-wife Aliza Sultan released back to back statements on Wednesday confirming their divorce, with the latter accusing her former husband of abuse and being unfaithful. Khan also confirmed the divorce but did not comment on the allegations, saying they are in the middle of court proceedings.

Sultan shared a screenshot from her notes and addressed the matter. “Our marriage of four years was utter chaos. In addition to a continuous physical and psychological violence during this period, I had to endure infidelity, blackmail and degradation at my husband’s hands. After careful consideration, I have reached the sad conclusion that I cannot spend my whole life in this horrific manner,” she wrote.

She said it was the thought of her children that finally made her call it quits. “The welfare and well-being of my children have played a significant role in this decision. I do not want them to grow up in a toxic, unhealthy and violent household. I’m afraid that their mental development and approach to life would be negatively impacted by exposure to such [a] hostile environment,” Sultan wrote.

“No kid should ever have to grow up feeling violence to be a normal part of relationships. I would rather teach them that no wounds are too deep to be healed, no scars too shameful to be concealed at the cost of one’s safety,” she added.

The Aye Musht-e-Khaak actor’s statement came a couple of hours after Sultan’s was posted. He shared details of their divorce filings and trials saying, “As a law-abiding citizen of Pakistan I have full confidence in the justice of the Court. Our divorce was finalised on September 2, 2022, after which I filed a family law case asking custody of and visitation rights pertaining to my children Sultan and Fatima in the eighth family judge district, East Karachi on September 19 2022.”

He kept the matter limited to discussing the custody of his kids. “Today, on September 21, 2022, the Court heard both parties and allowed me to spend time with my children Sultan and Fatima for half an hour in his [the judge’s] presence. The Court then adjourned the matter till October 1, 2022, on which date it will resume further proceedings related to visitation rights whereby I can continue to meet my children.”

He addressed Sultan neutrally and said he can’t discuss more. “As concerns my ex-wife, I shall extend her my respect and support as she is the mother of my children. I am afraid I am not in a position to further discuss this matter as the case is pending before the Court.”

So this guy quit showbiz to become a molvi, then subsequently ditched that idea to become an actor again, only later to be outed as a wife beater.

There is hardly any marriage in the entertainment industry, which proceeds amicably with respect and honor!

@NYS It is better to part ways if the marriage is violent. Raising kids in an abnormal environment can affect their development and lead to psychological problems.

This Feroze khan quit showbiz and said he wanna become a better muslim. Since then his molvi told him to go back to acting as molvis' obviously need a revenue stream. Its all a business and it seems Feroze was the bakra in the middle.

All kinds of people everywhere and can't incriminate Entertainment for being without respect and honour. Look at the social fabric including political that has been vandalised ruthlessly by power-hungry assailants. No respect. No honour. As for the subject couple, good decision to part ways amicably. Good wishes for the lady and her children.

Quite shocking to believe he is also one of "those"! Or else why would his seemingly dutiful non-showbiz arranged wife accuse him of all this. She would stand to lose the most. Plus her two innocent kids. Disgusting to note how fast power star/celeb and even normal couples' marriages are breaking up - these days due to shameless home breakers.

@M. Saeed That’s why it is important to know each other before getting married. Most actors in the industry marry hastily at a very young age and end up with compatibility issues later.

This person has an unstable personality and character issue, molvi one day, dancer another day. His ex wife has done right by parting ways. Other girls shouldn't get in this person's trap.

@M. Emad definitely. Men think women should remain in their place. There should be marriage counseling by experts for the couple before actual Nikah.
