ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Saturday directed the SNGPL to revise the Rs44,526 bill charged to a consumer after his meter was damaged during firing between two groups.

The president observed that the meter was damaged for no fault of the consumer, Brig Arbab Gul Mohammad, and that he had lodged an FIR over the incident. He directed the SNGPL to report compliance to the ombudsman within 30 days of his decision.
