KARACHI, Dec 20: Seven ships carrying general cargo, containers, lube oil and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Faros, to offload and load general cargo, Hannibal-1, to offload oil, Yang Jiang, Global Progress, and Ever Gurad to unload and load containers and Chry Soula, to offload fertilizer were berthed after the departure of as many.
The ships, which departed included Troyburg, H. Lange Land, Iron Butterfly, Pacific Hope, Basa Veshwara, and Lynx, while Faros, Sunny Falcom, Global Hope, Orbit and Ever Guard are due to sail out on Wednesday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 91,232 tons comprising 26,373 tons of export cargo and 64,859 tons of import tonnage was handled. The following ships are due on Wednesday: Elli, with crude oil, Shina, with lube oil, Iran Baluchistan, Mar Calabria, PONL Vera Cruz, Hyundai Stride, with containers, and Red Line, with general cargo and to load cement.
