Dacoits take away cash, gold

VEHARI, Jan 28: Dacoits late Sunday made off with cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs60,000 from a trader’s house in Mujahid Colony, Burewala.

The dacoits stormed into Muhammad Saleem’s house, held up the inmates and fled with cash, jewellery, a TV set and other valuables. They beat the area guard and snatched his gun on resistance before escaping.

Police are investigating.
