SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 28: An effective strategy has been chalked out to provide modern health facilities in hospitals and dispensaries of the district council.

This was stated by DEO (Health) Dr Mazharuddin while speaking to participants of the training course organized by district health authorities here on Monday.

He said the new LB system would bring revolutionary changes in the provision of health facilities to the common man. All available resources, he said, would be mobilized to achieve the goal of health for all in the district.

The training course was attended by heads of hospitals and dispensaries. District health officer Dr Muhammad Sharmeen and programme director Dr Zahida Sarwar were also present on the occasion.

UPLIFT PROJECTS: Union council Nazims have been urged to evolve solid planning for the uplift projects in their respective areas.

District planning officer Afzal Ahmad said this while talking to union council Nazims during a three-day training course here on Monday.

He stressed upon the Nazims to utilize all available resources in redressing the civic problems of the people.

The training course will be attended by 169 UC Nazims and their secretaries.
