Army bag five gold medals

KARACHI, Dec 12: Army boxers grabbed five gold and two silver medals as the second phase of National ranking boxing tournament for President’s fund for quake victims ended on Sunday.

Noman Karim (51kg), Tanveer Shaukat (81kg), Faisal Karim (64kg), Shaukat Ali (94kg) and Tariq Zia (57kg) were Army’s gold medal winners while those who grabbed silver were Abdul Razzik (+91kg) and Noor Badshah (54kg)

Two pugilists apiece from KPT and Wapda one each from Navy and KESC were the other gold medal winners.
