GUJRANWALA, Dec 12: Five people, including a woman, were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident near Wazirabad bypass on Monday night. A coaster was on its way from Islamabad to Lahore when it collided with a trailer coming from the opposite side. Five passengers died on the spot while 10 others sustained injuries.
The injured were taken to the local DHQ Hospital and the Wazirabad THQ Hospital.
SHOT DEAD: A landlord was shot dead by two robbers on offering resistance at Ugo village on Monday.
Reports said Munir Ahmad was on his way to the village from Kamoki by his motorcycle. Near the village, the dacoits intercepted him, took away his bike and shot him dead on resistance.
