Case against patwari for corruption

GUJRANWALA, Dec 12: A revenue patwari was booked by Naushera Virkan police on charges of corruption and absence from duty on Monday. Reports said deputy district officer Ziaullah Malik suspended patwari Muhammad Ashraf from service on being absent from duty. The accused also took away all official record in the absence of newly-posted patwari, Muhammad Akbar.

Police have registered a case and are raiding for his arrest.

REFRESHER COURSE: Refresher course for traffic police officials will be continued to revamp the system and all officials will have to participate in it compulsorily.

This was stated by traffic SP Asgher Saeed Paul while speaking at a passing-out ceremony at Ashraf Marth police line here on Monday.

He said as many as two sub-inspectors, three ASIs, about 22 constables and head-constables had completed their one-week course in the first phase while the remaining officials had been directed to participate in the second phase.
