LAHORE: Punjab Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Abdullah Khan Sumbal on Saturday transferred and posted some 46 assistant commissioners while consciously avoiding transfers and postings in the districts where provincial assembly by-elections are scheduled for July 17.

Except a couple of assistant commissioners replaced on the basis of some complaints, many have been replaced owing to their promotions in the next grades, completion of tenures. As many as seven undertraining assistant commissioners (AC-UT) have also been posted as ACs in different tehsils.

A notification issued by the Punjab government says: Bhalwal AC Khurram Mukhtar Bhangoo, Hazro AC Zohaib Ahmad Anjum, Kamoki AC Usman Sikandar, Wazirabad AC Rana Amjad Mahmood (presently on Haj leave), Pindi Gheb AC Kamran Saghir, Sangla Hill AC Mubarik Ali Raza, Vehari AC Waseem Hassan, Attock AC Raja Muhammad Saleem (presently on ex-Pakistan leave), Piplan AC Rizwan Ashraf, Hassanabdal AC Ishtiaqullah Khan, Renala Khurd AC Qamar Mahmood Manj, Kot Radha Kishan AC Maheen Fatima, Naushera Virkan AC Imran Safdar, Talagang AC Aitzaz Aslam Marth, Sohawa AC Shagufta Jabeen, Shahkot AC Rana Aurangzeb, Raiwind AC Asif Hussain and Rawalpindi AC (Revenue) Khalid Masood have been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD administration wing for further orders.

Awaiting posting Zahoor Ahmad Awan, Bakhtiar Ismail and Muhammad Ibrahim Arbab have been posted as Toba Tek Singh, Kamoki and Wazirabad ACs, respectively.

Similarly, awaiting posting Umar Sarwar, Nauman Mahmood and Samman Abbas have been posted as Pirmahal, Vehari and Attock ACs, respectively.

Awaiting posting Sajid Munir, Fazail Mudassar, Muhammad Imran Arshad and Muhammad Rizwanul Haq have been posted as Piplan, Hassanabdal, Kabirwala and Kasur ACs, respectively.

Toba Tek Singh AC Zohar Shakir has been transferred and posted as Bhalwal AC.

Anti-Corruption Establishment’s Mandi Bahauddin Deputy Director (investigation) Muhammad Waqas Aslam has been transferred and posted as Hazro AC; Pirmahal AC Ijaz Abdul Karim has been posted as Pindi Gheb AC; Lawa AC Kanwal Sabir has been posted as Sangla Hill AC; and Jhelum AC Mariya Javaid has been posted as Shakargarh AC.

The section officer (SO), Higher Education Department, South Punjab, Ziaullah, has been transfferd and posted as Renala Khurd AC. Food Department SO Muhammad Awais Sarwar has been transferred and posted as Kot Radha Kishan AC. Pindi Bhattian AC Shiza Rehman has been transferred and posted as Jhelum AC. The SO (Cabinet-II), Cabinet Wing, S&GAD, Adil Umar, has been transferred and posted as Malakwal AC. Attock (HR&Coord) AC Zarmina Wazir has been transferred and posted as Rawalpindi AC (Revenue).

Upon completion of under trainingship (UT), Rawalpindi AC (UT) Farwa Batool has been posted as Naushera Virkan AC; Sialkot AC (UT) Faisal Ahmed has been posted as Mailsi AC; Sargodha AC (UT) Abdul Basit Siddiqui has been posted as Burewala AC; Multan AC (UT) Nadeem Baloch has been posted as Talagang AC; Faisalabad AC (UT) Anum Babur has been posted as Sohawa AC; Jhelum AC (UT) Maham Mushtaq has been posted as Shahkot AC and Gujranwala AC (UT) Uzair Ali Khan has been posted as Mianwali AC.
