KARACHI: Hawkers Zone in Gulshan

KARACHI, Dec 12: Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Nazim Muhammad Wasay Jalil announced on Monday that Hawkers’ Zone would be established after removing encroachments to provide employment opportunities to people of the town.

During his visit to different areas of the town, he directed that a suitable place be identified for introduction of Hawkers Zone and the same be informed to the town administration.

The aim of this step was to provide employment opportunities to people, he said.

Wasay Jalil further directed that a feasibility report should be prepared for broadening the road of C.B. Barar Society and estimation of cost for construction and repair work at a nullah of Tipu Sultan Road.—APP
