There's going to be a lot of meme material coming your way as the iconic trio of Babu Bhaiya, Raju and Ghanshyam are set to return to the big screen as film producer Firoz Nadiawala announced third instalment of hit Indian film Hera Pheri.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Nadiawala confirmed that he is working on Hera Pheri 3 which will see the original cast, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty reprising their roles.

“You’ll get to see it very soon with the same star cast — Akshay ji, Paresh bhai and Suniel ji. The story is in place, and we are working on certain modalities. It’ll be made in the same way, retaining the innocence of the characters. We can’t take past achievements for granted. So, we have to be extra careful in terms of our content, story, screenplay, characters, mannerism etc,” he said.

He didn't reveal much but hinted that they have already shortlisted a director and will be making an official announcement soon. The first film was directed by Priyadarshan while Hera Pheri 2 was written and directed by Neeraj Vohra. According to The Indian Express there were rumours that Raaj Shaandilyaa of Bhoomi will helm the third part, however, Nadiawala said this wasn't true.

He told Bollywood Hungama that the team had started working on Hera Pheri 3 in 2014 but had to halt the production because Vohra fell ill. In that film, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan were reported to star in lead roles. The new film will have a long of changes in terms of story and character, reiterated the producer.

The producer also said that he wouldn't mind making fourth and fifth instalment of the Hera Pheri franchise and said that it will be "better than the earlier parts."

Hera Pheri released in 2000 followed by Phir Hera Pheri in 2006. Both the films managed to gain cult status.

Who cares about pathetic low grade cheap Bollywood that thrives on copying from anywhere and everywhere. Even Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry is far better in quality. Being the biggest doesn’t mean the best and certainly so not in Bollywood’s case.
