KARACHI, Dec 12: The Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy, Dr Hamida Khuhro, has asked Director Bureau of Curriculum, Jamshoro to conduct a comprehensive study and research to improve the poor reading habits among the primary level children.
The BOC director in this regard has undertaken a research study to assess practices in the primary schools of Sindh. A team of 12 researchers has been assigned the task to study the factors leading to poor reading habits among the children of primary level.
The BOC director submitting the report to the minister informed her that the districts selected for the study in question are Karachi, Thatta, Matiari and Kashmore.—APP
