KARACHI, Jan 28: Three ships carrying chemicals and wheat were allotted berth at Multipurpose Terminal during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships, Bright City to offload coal, Ievoli Shine to discharge chemicals and Ipex Empress to unload containers arrived at the outer anchorage during the same period. Ipex Empress and Bright City were expected to take berths at QICT and IOCB on Monday.

Six ships, MT Joselje, Kalisti, Monte Pelmo, Mint Prosperity, Stolt Stram and Supersonic were at the berths loading/discharging wheat, chemical, furnace oil and iron ore, respectively.

Some 35,998 tons of cargo was handled during the period.
