LAKKI MARWAT: Two young men were killed over an old enmity in Serai Naurang town of Lakki Marwat on Saturday, the police said.

Police identified the deceased as Rafiullah, 27, and Amir, 18, and said that they belonged to Bannu district.

They said Rafiullah had brought his father, Sher Daraz Khan, 67, to the town to get him examined by a doctor.

Sher Daraz told the police that Rafiullah and Amir came under fire by rivals – Syed Hawas and Salam Khan – as soon as they left for bazaar on a motorcycle for shopping.

He said the killers, who also belonged to Domel area of Bannu, fled the scene on a motorcycle.

The complainant said Rafiullah and Amir sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

Police said the bodies were taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.
