BAHAWALPUR: Five people allegedly gang-raped a married woman in Islami Colony on Tuesday.
According to police, the woman, of Liquatpur, came to the city and hailed a rickshaw to reach her destination, but the rickshaw driver took her to Islami Colony where five people gang-raped her.
The Baghdadul Jadid police registered an FIR under section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code and arrested the suspects.
The police are after the rickshaw driver.
The complainant was referred for medical examination.
