LAHORE: The police arrested on Monday a man for stabbing a woman to death over refusing his proposal in Multan.
Asia, 23, was attacked by her relative Tariq late on Sunday in the Seetal Mari area of Multan.
The woman suffered critical injuries and was taken to Nishtar Hospital where she died on Monday morning.
The Seetal Mari police registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s father. The police said Tariq has confessed to his crime.
