RAWALPINDI: Just after four days of the removal of Regional Police Officer Rawalpindi Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, the City Police Officer Omer Saeed Malik was on Monday directed to report to the Central Police Office (CPO) Lahore with immediate effect.

Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari (PSP/BS-19) was awaiting posting in the Central Police Office Lahore is hereby posted as CPO Rawalpindi with immediate effect.

A notification issued by the provincial government said that Mr Omer Saeed Malik, City Police Officer, Rawalpindi is hereby directed to report to Central Police Office Lahore for further order.

Earlier on Thursday, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Ashfaq Ahmad Khan had been transferred to Services & General Administration Department and had been replaced with Imran Ahmar (PSP/BS-20).

The newly posted police officer Imran Ahmar who had been awaiting posting in S&GAD will assume the charge of his office on Saturday.

It further said Imran Ahmar (PSP/BS-20) awaiting posting in S&GAD, government of Pakistan, is hereby posted as RPO Rawalpindi in his own pay and scale with immediate effect vice Ashfaq Ahmad Khan transferred.
