SAHIWAL: Chichawatni police have identified three killers through CCTV footage and registered double murder cases against six people, including a woman, but failed to arrest killers who murdered two youth- Abdual Wahab and Usman Jutt -- in broad daylight at Gujar Chowk on Saturday afternoon.
Police said among the six nominated persons four were drug traffickers.
Rana Iftikhar, DSP Headquarter, confirmed one of the killers was an absconder wanted by Chichawatni police in multiple cases during the last three years.
SHO City Mirza Aslam said early investigation suggested three accused carried out the killings while the rest abetted. He said Yasmin was the mother of an accused.
He said Abdul Wahab had lodged a drug trafficking case against main accused Ali Hyder Rammay.
Sahiwal DPO Sadiq Baloch said killers would be arrested soon.
