SAHIWAL: A young man committed suicide by jumping into Lower Bari Doab Canal on Thursday afternoon.
Afzaal alias Chita, a resident of Isayain De Basti, Sahiwal city, committed suicide because of some domestic problems.
Earlier, his first cousin had also committed suicide be throwing himself into LBDC. Rescue 1122 has started a search operation to retrieve his body from the canal water.
