KARACHI: Three former leaders of the Pak Sarzameen Party on Friday joined the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
According to an MQM-P press release, former health minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Salim Tajik and Wasim Aftab visited the party’s Bahadurabad headquarters and announced returning to the party fold.
They had left the Altaf Hussain-led MQM in 2016 and joined the PSP. But after the result of 2018 general elections, the trio had parted ways with Mustafa Kamal.
Speaking to reporters, they thanked the MQM-P leadership for welcoming them.
