Post office in rented room

Published October 16, 2001

MITHI, Oct 15: Since no government building is available for the post office at Mithi, it has been functioning in different rented buildings for last couple of years.

The shifting of the post office to different locations has been causing inconvenience to public.

The staff of the post office is also experiencing a lot of difficulties by carrying out their work in a small rented room.

The Mithi post office is operational since the British period. Its building caved in years ago but the high ups of the department have not bothered to get sanctioned the scheme for a new building for it.
