KARACHI: 8 cars, 8 bikes taken away

KARACHI, Jan 27: At least 16 vehicles—eight cars and eight motorcycles— were either hijacked or stolen from different parts of the city on Sunday, police said.

Of the eight cars, five were hijacked while three were stolen by bandits on Sunday.

Four of the motorcycles were hijacked and the same number was stolen.

Police recovered two vehicles on Sunday, (S-3690) Jamshad Quarters and (K-3190) ACLC Artillery.

ACCIDENT: An unknown person died in a traffic accident in Ferozabad on Sunday.

Police said that the unknown victim was knocked down on the main Tariq Road by an unknown vehicle on Sunday.

The victim’s body was sent to the JPMC for postmortem, police said. Later, the body was sent to the Edhi morgue for identification.
