OKARA: The University of Okara’s Department of Botany organised an exhibition of natural and organic products on Friday.

Students set up stalls of handicraft, cosmetics and food.

Department chairman Dr Fahim Arshad highlighted the importance of herbal products for a healthy lifestyle and said the use of natural cosmetics and foods can save us from numerous skin and stomach problems.

The exhibition was followed by a spring plantation drive that was held in collaboration with Pakistan Army.

A number of fruit and shade plants were placed in the Botanical Garden of the campus.
