Harris, Shahzaib in final

LAHORE, Nov 24: Beaconhouse New Garden Town Branch dominated as all its players qualified for the all three age categories finals of the Lahore Inter-school table tennis tournament at the Chromo Complex on Thursday.

Harris Khan and Shahzaib Maqbool qualified for boys U-20 singles finals.

Zaid Ahmed and Shahzaib entered boys U-14 singles finals.

Ziad also marched into the Boys Under-16 finals where he will meet Sheryar Khan.

Results: Boys U-14 (semifinals): Zaid Ahmed (Beaconhouse NGT) bt Abdullah Abubakar (Bloomfield) 11-9, 11-6, 11-7; Shahzaib Maqbool (Beaconhouse NGT) bt Hamza Shakil (Beaconhouse NGT) 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 11-9.

U-16 (semifinals): Zaid Ahmed (Beaconhouse NGT) beat Sheraz Saeed (LGS) 11-8, 11-6, 8-11,11-6; Sheryar Khan (Beaconhouse NGT) beat Abdullah Naeem (Resource Academia) 11-6, 11-8, 11-8.

U-20: Harris Khan (Beaconhouse NGT) bt Hasan Tahir (Beaconhouse NGT) 11-8,11-6, 5-11,8-11,11-9, Shahzaib Maqbool (Beaconhouse NGT) bt Zaid Ahmed (Beaconhouse NGT) 11-7, 11-5, 9-11, 11-6.
