MUZAFFARGARH: Multan Deputy Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan on Monday launched an inquiry into the toxic gas leakage incident at a factory in which a Chinese man had died and about a dozen others had become unconscious.

An investigation committee, consisting Additional Commissioner Qamaruz Zaman Qaisarani, SP Cantt Hassan Afzal, Boiler Inspector Rana Muhammad Saleem and Civil Defense Officer Rana Tariq Waheed, would investigate the incident.

The DC said the committee would visit the factory and submit its report within a week.
