LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday declared that a decision to bring a no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government will be taken after creating a “consensus” among the opposition parties.
“No-confidence motion against the government will only be brought with a consensus [among the opposition parties],” the PML-N president said in a talk with journalists after he visited the residence of party lawmaker Bilal Yasin to inquire after him.
Mr Yasin was injured in an armed attack some two weeks ago.
To a question that why Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted him behind the bars in a money laundering case, Shehbaz said: “It is said that I am a nightmare for Imran Niazi.”
He condemned the mini-budget which he said would bring another round of inflation.
He said Pakistan never witnessed such an inflation, price hike, unemployment etc in its history and held Imran Khan responsible for this.
