LAHORE, Nov 20: Kasur police claimed on Sunday to have arrested three proclaimed offenders after an encounter. Kasur DPO Ahmad Mobin said a police patrol signalled three men on a motorcycle to stop who, instead, tried to escape. He said the outlaws opened fire on the police squad which was retaliated. The chase and the crossfire continued for about two kilometres, he said.
However, the accused were rounded up, and a rifle, a pistol and 200 bullets were seized from them. They were identified as Rang Elahi, Sarwar and Fayaz.
The arrested men are said to have confessing to having committed over a dozen crimes against property. —Staff Reporter
