RAWALPINDI: An official spokesman today [Nov 30] re-emphasised that Pakistan will not be able to tolerate Indian aggression, and said the restraint being exercised by Pakistan should not be taken as a sign of weakness. Replying to newsmen’s questions at a Press briefing here today, the spokesman hoped the world was aware that something in the nature of major aggression had taken place… .

He said Pakistan’s intention to defend herself by all the means “at our disposal is always there”. But he added, there was also the intention to prevent outbreak of all-out hostility in the hope that Pakistan’s “restraint” will be appreciated. — Special representative
