KARACHI: A solitary goal took Karachi Kings Club past Al Sagheer Club (Whites) for their second successive win in the Inter-Club Hockey Championship at the KHA Sports Complex on Friday.

The winners, who had trounced Badruddin Club 6-0 in their opening match, scored the only goal through Siddiqui Khanin the sixth minute and handed Al Sagheer (Whites) a second straight loss.

Contrary to the opening fixture, Youth Club (Blues) bulldozed Federal Club 17-0 to register their second straight victory as Haris Naseer hit seven goals and Adnan added four.

Abdul Rehman scored a brace while Usman, Hammad Ayaz, Noman Khan and Waseem Aslam added one apiece to complete the rout.

Al Faisal Club carved out 3-1 victory over Karachi Tigers Club to register their first win. Abdul Waheed, Mohammad Akram and Asim Munir chipped in one goal apiece for the winners while Mohammad Ahmed reduced the deficit for losers.

Saturday’s fixtures: Ismail Club vs OISSA at 3pm; Karachi Kings Club vs Hanif Khan Club at 4pm; Yazik Club vs Spartan Club at 5pm.
