Four killed in Attock

TAXILA: Four people were killed in three different incidents in Attock district on Wednesday.

In the first incident, two persons lost their lives when a Peshawar bound passenger train ran over them on a bridge near Burhan in the limits of Hassanabdal police station on Wednesday.

Railway police and Rescue 1122 sources said Waqar Hussain along with Afzal Sardar were passing through a railway bridge when Awam Express hit them killing both of them on the spot. Later their bodies were shifted to Attock District Headquarters Hospital.

In the same police station limits, a tractor trolley rammed into a motorcycle near Jehri Kass killing the motorcyclist on the spot. Police and hospital sources said that Ansar Ali was going towards his village. The driver managed to escape with his vehicle successfully.

Moreover, a man shot dead his wife over a domestic dispute in Musa village in the limits of Hazro police station of Attock on Wednesday.

Police while quoting the family of the victim said the couple married a few years ago and the relations between the couple were not well.

On Wednesday, both of them exchanged hot words over a domestic dispute and out of rage, Sagheer took out his pistol and shot her dead and managed to escape.

Moreover, a security guard of a private security company received bullet injury during exchange of fire with suspected vehicle lifters in the Gulistan Colony area in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station on Wednesday.
