ISLAMABAD, Nov 12: The Central Board of Revenue has extended the zero rating of sales tax on local supply for three months to earthquake relief activities.
The decision was taken through a sales tax notification SRO1126 issued here on Monday by amending the earlier SRO1035 of 2005.
The exemption was further extended to give maximum relief to the earthquake-affected people. The CBR had announced the exemption on local supply for one month period which expired on November 12, 2005.
