LAKKI MARWAT: The district administration razed several permanent structures during an anti-encroachment operation in the Lakki city on Tuesday.

An official said the revenue department had demarcated the area occupied by the land grabbers in Meenakhel locality before launching the operation.

The municipal workers led by assistant commissioner Umer Bin Riaz used heavy machinery to demolish the permanent structures built by land grabbers on the state land.

The official said over four kanals of land with total market value of about Rs10 million was retrieved.
