Actor Amna Ilyas recently posted a teaser for her upcoming short film Jugaad starring actors Khalid Malik and Mani. The film is all set to release on Ilyas' YouTube channel Illy TV.

Jugaad has been written by Sajid Hasan, directed by Dawar Mehmood and produced by Ilyas. It stars RJ Khalid Malik and Mani as the main leads. Ilyas recently posted a teaser for the upcoming project on Instagram.

The short film is a satirical work. Malik revealed to Images that the story is "based on the dreams of a struggling director and aspiring producer". "The story lures you in with "what happens when these dreams come head to head with each other," he said.

Ilyas gave Images more insight into what the director and producer in the storyline are up to. "They're struggling to make a good feature film. It's very comical. Mani is playing the producer and Khalid is playing the director. They both did a phenomenal job," she said.

"Shooting was a little tough because we had to put a lot of prosthetics on Mani," Ilyas revealed. "We've shown him balding and quite aged in the film and to get that look was quite challenging."

Jugaad will be released on October 9 on Ilyas' YouTube channel.
