Maryam Nawaz's fashion choices get a nod of approval from PPP leader Sharmila Faruqui

Matching your outfit with your high heels is pretty impressive in Faruqi's book.
28 Sep, 2021

If there's one thing almost everyone can agree on, it's that PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz's outfits are often the talk of the town. People often take note of her clothes and matching accessories and PPP leader Sharmila Faruqui is no different.

In a post shared on Twitter, Faruqui commented on how Maryam's floral kameez and pants were complemented by heels with a very similar print. "Can’t decide which came first? The shoe or the dress but pretty impressive swag," she wrote.

We'll second Faruqui on this. Matching your desi clothes with your shoes displays a pretty impressive attention to detail indeed. The floral patterned white kameez and pants Maryam wore is by designer Sania Maskatiya.

She wore the perfectly matched outfit to a PML-N divisional meeting in Sahiwal recently.

Faruqi isn't the only one paying attention to Maryam's carefully curated clothes at public events. Many people have noted that the PML-N leader is often pictured wearing local designers in an effort to promote local fashion, an approach made famous by figures such as British Royal Kate Middleton who uses fashion to make diplomatic gestures.

Maryam's strategic dressing choices and taste in fashion are a formidable combination. What do you think about her outfits?

Mothers influence their daughters. Maryam's mother was a lady of great character and taste for class-specific fashion.

If not promote local designers, who else is she going to promote? Ralph Lauren and Dior do not make shalwar kameez. Promoting would be when she's wearing Service and Bata shoes and purses.

Display of wealth by future 'leader' of PML (N). It is n't politics , The fashion is display of affluent class 's showboating.
