PESHAWAR: Officials of the provincial environment department and district administration on Sunday sealed three factories in Hayatabad industrial estate for spreading pollution.
In the joint action of the environment department and district administration, the officials inspected different factories in the industrial estate, Hayatabad, according to a statement issued here.
During inspection of the factories, the smoke of three factories was declared hazardous and cause of pollution in the area. According to the statement, legal action will be taken against the owners of the factories.
