LAHORE: Punjab’s Covid-19 caseload has risen to 421,800 after 1,185 new cases were detected across the province in the last 24 hours on Sunday.

The province also confirmed 31 fatalities, taking the death toll to 12,396.

During the last 24 hours, 635 people tested positive in Lahore, 88 in Multan, 75 in Rawalpindi, 38 each in Faisalabad and Mianwali, 28 in Khushab, 27 each in Gujranwala and Sargodha, 23 each in Bahawalpur and Nankana, 22 in Okara, 20 in DG Khan, 15 in Sahiwal, 14 in Gujrat, 13 in Pakpattan, 12 each in Sialkot and Rahim Yar Khan.

The positivity ratio of the province remained 5.8 per cent during the last 24 hours. The positivity ratio in provincial capital remained 8.4pc, 9.1pc in Rawalpindi, 5.7pc in Faisalabad, 9.8pc in Multan and 3.4pc in Gujranwala.
