KARACHI: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Ufone have signed an memorandum of understanding (MoU) to launch the second batch of ‘Justuju Internship Programme’ in collaboration with the ‘Network of Organizations Working with Persons with Disabilities Pakistan’, says a press release.

Justuju includes a structured professional development plan for persons with disabilities focusing on their training and enabling them to be part of the country’s mainstream socio-economic system.

The PTCL group will induct 20 persons for internship at the PTCL and Ufone offices in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

The group’s chief human resource officer, Syed Mazhar Hussain, and executive director of the network Omair Ahmed signed the MoU at the PTCL headquarters in Islamabad.

Under the deal, the signatories would build capacity, sensitise employees and create employment opportunities for the special citizens.
