Suspension extended

KARACHI, Jan 24: The KSE Governing Board of Directors on Thursday extended the suspension period for trading in the shares of Dadabhoy Leasing Company for another 60 days with effect from January 25, 2002 or until such time as the cause of suspension is removed.

According to KSE sources, the said company has committed various defaults under the listing regulations of the exchange. These defaults include failure to pay penalty imposed for delay in despatch of dividend warrants and bonus shares, non-payment of initial listing fee etc.

The company was issued show cause notice to rectify the defaults and furnish reply/explanations but till to date, the company failed to rectify these defaults, the exchange sources said.—APP
