PESHAWAR: Two women and two children of a family were killed and three minors injured when roof of a house collapsed here on Tuesday night.

The Met department said the provincial capital received 17mm of rain on Tuesday night. The downpour led to roof and wall collapses in different parts of the city leading to deaths and injuries.

The police said roof of a house collapsed in the limits of Inqilab police station, killing two women and two children and injuring three children. The injured were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital.

Two other people were injured when a wall collapsed in Surezai village on the outskirts of Peshawar.
