PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau has taken notice of delay in provision of electricity to Peshawar Media Colony.

After receiving complaints from the owners of plots in the olony, NAB Director General for KP retired Brig Farooq Naser Awan took cognisance of the almost four years delay in electrification of the colony.

A statement issued here on Wednesday said that a meeting was held at NAB office that was attended by officials of Peshawar Electric Supply Company and Peshawar Development Authority.

The meeting reviewed progress on provision of facilities to the residential colony and decided that Pesco would start electrification project immediately to ensure supply of electricity to the colony within two months.

On the occasion, the provincial chief of NAB vowed to provide relief to people public through the accountability regime. He said that NAB would provide every possible support to other departments for service delivery to people. He also requested people to help NAB in eradicating corruption.
