LAHORE: A small card of five events, featuring two cup races, will be gone through during the eighth day/night Lahore Summer Meeting at the Racecourse here on Sunday.

The feature event, the August Cup a class VII Division I (Class VI included) to be contested over 1,100 metres, has seven acceptors. However, the real contenders are gelding Believe Me, colt Amazing Runner and filly Remember Me, who relish the distance. They should finish in the same order.

This will be the fourth race in racing order.

The opener is the Appr­e­ntice Boys Cup race to be gone over 800 metres. It has seven runners. This is the only race meant exclusively for apprentice riding boys and jockeys are not allowed to ride in this race.

The first race will be held at 5.00pm.
