KARACHI: The physics examination question paper for the intermediate part two exam, which commenced here from Monday morning, reached a few minutes to half an hour late at some examination centres of the city.

The centre control officers (CCOs) at centres where the paper reached late said that the examination started late due to the paper reaching them late from the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK). The reason given for this was the morning rush on the roads. Still, wherever the examination started late, the candidates were given extra time to complete their exams.

Earlier, BIEK Chairman Prof Dr Saeeduddin informed that they have set up 210 exam centres in the city. All these centres have been equipped with thermal guns, sanitisers and disposable masks though the candidates have been advised to bring their own drinking water and not drink from anyone else’s water bottle.

Besides this, the students are not allowed to bring mobile phones. Ideally, they are also to reach their respective centres at least half an hour early.
