ISLAMABAD: Pakistan today [July 24] denied India’s allegation that Pakistani aircraft violated Indian airspace on Tuesday [July 20] last. Official sources here described as “completely baseless, without foundation and mischievous” the allegation that two Mirage jets had flown at only 500 feet over the airport at Srinagar. An Indian protest Note against the alleged violation … was understood to have been handed over to Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India. The Note has not yet been received here but it would undoubtedly be rejected. — Agencies
