Sonologist passes away

PESHAWAR: A leading ultrasound specialist of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Murad Ali, who died here of cardiac arrest, was laid to rest at his ancestral village in Mardan district on Wednesday.

People in large number including medical professionals, relatives and friends attended his last rituals and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and provide courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.

The deceased was father of Dr Owais and Dr Anees, brother of Dr Sartaj Ali based in Chicago (USA) and paternal uncle of Dr Sohail, engineer Asad Ali and Raheel Akhter.

The Rasm-i-Qul of the deceased will be held at his ancestral village tomorrow (Friday).
